IPM Consulting Services
IPM is more complex than traditional pest control. IPM programs require knowledgeable
professionalsto design them properly and to oversee them to ensure they remain on-track.
We develop IPM programs from scratch or upgrade existing programs. IPM programs are custom
designedfor sites such as schools or school systems, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living
facilities, publicbuildings, office buildings, even large development projects and construction sites-service
includes the following:

Develop IPM
IPM guidance, training, and education
IPM program document which can include the following:

Notification procedures regarding use of pesticide
IPM monitoring plan
Action thresholds for specific pests and locations
Nonchemical IPM tools
Guidelines for pesticide use
Conduct quarterly or annual quality assurance review

IPM Evaluations and Inspections
We review existing IPM programs to ensure that they conform to good IPM practices
and that they are managing pests effectively while minimizing risks associated with
both pests and the control tactics used against them, particularly
pesticides. A written report will include a needs analysis and specific
recommendations for improvement.

Field Research on Pest Control
Each year we do a field research related to urban pest control in manufacturers and suppliers of pest control materials and equipment, and have worked for research firms.
Our fees for assessing pest problems in the field is $350 per day or $ 59 per hour plus reasonable expenses.
Our standard retainer fee agreement is $ 250 per year for up to 10 hours of telephone and e-mail consultation on pest problems, as well as a pest identification service for urban and structural pests for property managers, pest control firms, school IPM coordinators, food industry managers, and similar professionals responsible for pest control.

Pest Identification:
We will identify a specimen of urban pests in and around buildings (such as cockroaches, ants, flies, mosquitoes, stored product pests and other food pets, fleas, ticks, bed bugs, stinging insects, fabric pests, termites, and other wood destroying insects) insects for $25 (retainer not charged).

E. FUMIGATION SERVICES AGAINST INSECTS
Fumigation is the use of a gas to destroy pests which may infest a building or a product, an item of furniture, frames, wooden items, a car in fact virtually anything can be fumigated, there are exceptions but generally this is the case.

“We can pick up the item, take it to our gas chamber, or conversely we can seal it into what iscalled a “stack”, in heavy gauge polythene. Once we are sure that everything is gas tight
we can calculate the volume of the stack or chamber and thereby calculate the dose of gas required and introduce it, this is a skilled job and can only be carried out by highly qualified Fumigator.”
Fumigation isn’t residual…it will kill the pests in the item and it will also kill the eggs, which spraying doesn’t, but it does not leave a barrier to protect against re-infestation.

Fumigants are commercially available in a solid, liquid or gaseous state. Phosphine (PH3), for example, is a formulated fumigant commercially available as either tablets, pellets, bags or plates. Methyl bromide (CH3Br), on the other hand, is gaseous in form and packed in a liquid form in pressurised steel bottles. At temperature above 40°C it takes a gaseous state, thus, once the container is opened, the gas is released and starts to act as a fumigant. The two compounds are the most widely spread fumigants in use.
In a grain store it should be used in conjunction with a spraying program and the situation should be closely monitored.
